Nous avions la chance d&rsquo;\u00eatre re\u00e7us par Patrice &#8211; propri\u00e9taire d&rsquo;un domaine pr\u00e9sentant un int\u00e9r\u00eat historique et botanique particulier &#8211; et auteur-historien. Et nous avons la double chance d&rsquo;\u00eatre accompagn\u00e9s ce jour par <a href=\"http:\/\/lagarriguebotanique.free.fr\/liens.html\" target-\"_blank\">Marcel Vaillaud<\/a> &#8211; auteur et botaniste sp\u00e9cialiste de la garrigue.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Avec ces 2 h\u00f4tes, nous avons parcouru le domaine de Patrice o\u00f9 les vestiges d&rsquo;un oppidum coexistent avec une v\u00e9g\u00e9tation tr\u00e8s diversifi\u00e9e dont une partie en garrigue s\u00e8che et une partie en garrigue humide (oui, cela existe !). Ce milieu constituait, on peut l&rsquo;imaginer, un cadre id\u00e9al pour aborder notre sujet.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-5554 gallery-columns-3 gallery-size-medium'><figure sont le ch\u00eane vert, le ch\u00eane kerm\u00e8s, le filaire \u00e0 feuilles \u00e9troites, l&rsquo;\u00e9pine-du-christ et le pistachier t\u00e9r\u00e9binthe entre autres. Plus que la simple identification des esp\u00e8ces, Marcel nous a expliqu\u00e9 l&rsquo;interaction de ces esp\u00e8ces avec leur milieu en fonction des sols, du climat, des vents dominants et de la disponibilit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;eau. Notre guide nous a parl\u00e9 aussi de l&rsquo;\u00e9tage arbustif (genets, cistes, rouvets blancs etc.) et de l&rsquo;\u00e9tage de v\u00e9g\u00e9tation au sol (gesses, orchid\u00e9es, f\u00e9rules, etc.). <\/p>\n<p>Plus loin, guid\u00e9s par Patrice, nous avons pu admirer des points de vue splendides sur les gorges du Gardon et les lointaines C\u00e9vennes.
