Depuis l&rsquo;Uz\u00e8ge, pour se rendre \u00e0 Aix ou \u00e0 Marseille, on passe \u00e0 Salon par l&rsquo;autoroute, et bien souvent on ne s&rsquo;y arr\u00eate pas. C&rsquo;est une erreur car la ville a un pass\u00e9 prosp\u00e8re et un patrimoine tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressant. Pour cette sortie, nous avons eu une visite guid\u00e9e de la savonnerie de Marius Fabre, une entreprise du patrimoine vivant, o\u00f9 l&rsquo;on fabrique le v\u00e9ritable savon de Marseille selon une tradition plus que centenaire. Nous avons pu voir les cuves, les goulottes, les bacs de s\u00e9chage, les instruments de fa\u00e7onnage et \u00e9couter une explication des proc\u00e9d\u00e9s pour fabriquer du savon \u00e0 partir de deuxi\u00e8me partie de journ\u00e9e, une guide conf\u00e9renci\u00e8re \u00e9rudite nous a conduit sur une promenade dans le quartier des savonniers. Il faut savoir qu&rsquo;au 19\u00e8me si\u00e8cle avec l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e du chemin de fer, Salon-de-Provence est devenu une plaque tournante de l&rsquo;industrie du savon et cette activit\u00e9 a fait la fortune de plusieurs n\u00e9gociants et fabricants. Ces industriels ont construit de somptueux manoirs, des villas grandioses et m\u00eame des mini-ch\u00e2teaux comme r\u00e9sidence personnelle et carte de visite pour leurs entreprises.  <\/p>\n<p>Au milieu de la journ\u00e9e, au temps libre, certains sont all\u00e9s au restaurant et d&rsquo;autres ont profit\u00e9 pour se promener au ch\u00e2teau fort qui domine la ville.
